In the 19th century, Theodore Roosevelt mocked the painting techniques of the Impressionists. “It seems to me that what [sculptor Henry] Adams praises as a new power, is merely the old mistake in new form,” he wrote. “Scenes, instead of being reproduced from memory or from the hand, have now been copied from the canvas. The result is monotony, unblending sameness, and a certain deadness”.

Nemo

Gould's acting career began when he was two years old. He had small roles in the late 1990s and early 2000s on many television shows that were popular at the time. At age seven, he won the eponymous role in Finding Nemo.

Gould was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. He began acting at the age of two and is perhaps best known for providing the voice of the title character of Disney/Pixar's film Finding Nemo (2003) and starring as Shane Botwin on the Showtime dark comedy-drama series Weeds (2005).
