British singer PinkPantheress and rapper Ice Spice's collaboration, Boy's A Liar Pt. 2, has reached the top ten on the Hot 100. The track, originally released last November on PinkPantheress' 'Take Me Home' EP, was produced by Mura Masa with a Jersey club beat mixed with elements of chiptune music.

The original

PinkPantheress released her single "Boy's a liar" in November and it quickly gained steam on TikTok, peaking at number two in the UK. Additionally, this track was featured on her 'Take Me Home' EP.

The original was a dance-pop and bubblegum pop song with an uptempo Jersey club beat, chiptune elements and lyrics about feeling inadequate in relationships. It gained notoriety online and was featured on various music videos. In 2022, PinkPantheress and her producer Mura Masa released the remix version with rapper Ice Spice which reached number four on both Billboard Hot 100 and Global 200 charts.

PinkPantheress shared her hesitation to collaborate with Ice Spice on the remix due to her body dysmorphia, but ultimately followed her gut and internal compass. The outcome is an upliftin' collaboration that showcases both artists' abilities - becoming one of the top performing anthems this year.
