Four days ago, for reasons that remain unclear, Margarita Levieva vanished from her family's home in Kiev, Ukraine. Levieva, who's 28 years old, has been working in France since last year as an assistant to a lawyer and a translator of legal documents and court cases. She had previously worked as a translator and copywriter at a marketing agency, and at a law firm.

Margarita Vladimirovna Levieva (Russian: Маргари́та Влади́мировна Леви́ева, born 9 February 1980) is an American actress and dancer. Levieva was born in St. Petersburg, Russia and began training as a rhythmic gymnast at age three. Margarita Levieva, versatile and talented actress and model, was vanished without a trace on October 10, 2017. Thirty-year-old Russian-born Margarita Levieva left her apartment in Hollywood, California to go grocery shopping. At the time of her disappearance, she was five months pregnant. Her family began the search immediately that spread to officials and police departments.

Renowned for playing Amanda Clarke in ‘Revenge,’ Abigail “Abby” Parker in ‘The Deuce,’ and Gina Zanetakos in ‘The Blacklist,’ Margarita Levieva was initially a competitive gymnast before she appeared as a guest on ‘Law & Order: Trial by Jury.’ She was next seen in ‘Vanished,’ a serial drama television series. Some of her popular film credits include ‘Spread,’ a sex comedy film where she starred as Heather; ‘The Invisible,’ a teen supernatural thriller where she played Annie Newton; ‘The Loft,’ an erotic thriller where she appeared as Vicky Fry; ‘Adventureland,’ a comedy-drama film where she was seen playing Lisa P; ‘The Diary of a Teenage Girl,’ a comedy-drama where she starred as Tabatha; ‘The Lincoln Lawyer,’ a neo-noir legal thriller clip where she portrayed Regina “Reggie” Camp; and ‘Sleeping With Other People,’ a romantic-comedy film where she played Hannah. The pregnant woman in a royal blue glow-in-the-dark maternity dress stood on a makeshift stage and gestured at the stage while she stumbled through her speech. It wasn't her own words, but she didn't seem to care that they sounded stilted, even to a native Russian speaker. The crowd of mostly nervous-looking faces sat in the dark, chilled by the chill of what had already happened that night.
