Coastal Georgia Rv Resort
Coastal Georgia Rv Resort
Experience the mountains, beaches and storms of the South. With a focus on quality and satisfaction, the Coastal Georgia RV Resort is perfect for a relaxing getaway in a perfect RV campground.
We are scheduled to arrive 09/08/17 and depart 09/11/17. The Governor of Georgia has issued an evacuation order due to Hurricane Irma. I called to cancel my stay and request a refund. I was told that NO REFUND would be issued. What??? Of course I am going to dispute the transaction through the credit card company and I know that I will win. I also intend to post this on Facebook. I recommend that this place be boycotted until such time as the owner(s) issues an apology for their stupidity and issue refunds. I know that I will NEVER visit that RV park...
Our mild climate makes staying here enjoyable any time of year, so you'll never find us closed for an 'off season.' We stay open all year round. Brunswick, once known for its rich fisheries as The Shrimp Capital of the World, is situated on a peninsula with Oglethorpe Bay to the west, the Brunswick River to the south, and the Intracoastal Waterway to the east. This offers you a choice of inshore, offshore, Gulfstream and deep-sea fishing. Bring your family to enjoy our new RV Resort. We are conveniently located off I-95, situated on a beautiful south Georgia lake surrounded by lush landscaping, just minutes away from golf, beaches, historical sites and shopping. Cook out at our pavilion, spend some time on the lake in our paddle boats, fish off the bank or get some sun lying by the pool. Clubs are always welcome. (Source: www.bookyoursite.com)
We overnighted at this very clean cement pad PT with full hookups for less than $40 w/GS. Really enjoyed Bubba Ajax Crab Shack restaurant nearby. Bathrooms surgically clean and pleasant. Office has well stocked RV supplies. OK to wash rig on site. Liked it so much, stayed again on way back vs. distance more convenient place. Garbage pick up in the morning. This will be our first. Future stopping point when traveling north on 95 from Treasure Coast Florida. Wifi iffy but in process of getting updated. No shade trees. Can hear faraway train when A/C or furnace not on.
Same review as a little over a year ago...5 stars!!! Stayed here for an overnight while traveling, but would stay here longer term if staying in area. Very clean RV park. Our pull-thru, 50 amp, FHU site was concrete and level. No leveling was needed. Hookups are convenient and easy. There is a hedge between sites for privacy and ample room between sites. There is a patio & grill. Our site was on the first row when entering so was easy to access. It was a tad tight when exiting, but wasn't a problem. WiFi worked well and plenty of cable channels. Friendly, easy check-in. We'll definitely stay here again. (Source: www.bookyoursite.com)
Brunswick is one of the most convenient locations for RV travelers on Georgia’s low country coast who want to experience the region’s more quiet, scenic beaches and islands. Golden Isles RV Park is perfectly located right at the intersection of I-95 and Highway 17, surrounded by everything from Starbucks and Dunkin’ Donuts to Flying J Travel Center and multiple gas stations. This location also puts you a quick drive from either Jekyll Island or St. Simon’s Island, two of Georgia’s prettiest coastal wonders.
Tybee Island is the closest beach to the historic city of Savannah and one of the most popular and iconic coastal destinations in Georgia. The main beach is popular and active without being overly crowded, and the small island offers many less populated beaches for those who want to get away from it all. River’s End Campground is perfectly located on the north side of Tybee Island, which is removed enough from the main drag to offer peace and quiet but close enough to still walk to many delicious seafood restaurants and lively bars. The north side of Tybee Island has some of the island’s most pristine beaches as well as a stunning historic lighthouse. (Source: rvshare.com)
