The Atlantic Liquor Store

You might have heard a lot of great things about Atlantic Liquor Store, but you may not have been aware of its controversial past. But this didn't stop loyal customers from flocking to the store. Now, you can find everything you need at this place, from whiskey to gin to spirits.

Appellant was convicted of murdering Davis

In the trial of Appellant, a judge did not answer a question asked by the jury. The question was posed after Davis, who was murdered in 2012, referred to another drug runner as "the killer." During the trial, the judge stated the state had the burden of proof. He then instructed the jury to read the charges again. The Appellate Court ruled that this failure was not harmless.

Appellant was sentenced to ten years in prison

Leon A. Miller, 33, was sentenced to nine years in prison for armed robbery and firearms offense. The crime was committed at an Atlantic liquor store in Northwest Washington, D.C. The defendant was sentenced by U.S. Attorney Matthew M. Graves and Metropolitan Police Department Chief Robert J. Contee III. This is a rare sentence in the federal court system, as it involves a criminal conviction for a crime that does not involve a gun.

The appellant and his companion were arrested shortly afterward, and the police found a watch in the deceased's pocket.

The store had a parking garage and was across the street. As they left, the appellant told his companion to pawn the pistol. Appellant then approached the store owner and asked if he would pawn the gun. Appellant then told the store owner that he was going to pay him back with three and a half rocks of crack cocaine. Appellant was then arrested two days later.

The appellant and his companion had been living in the same house at the time of the robbery. The appellant had been driving a vehicle when the robbery took place. The appellant's companion was accompanied by another man who admitted to being in the store when the defendants were arrested. The appellant was arrested the next day. The defendants' companion, however, had been arrested the day before the robbery.

BEER

At Atlantic Liquors, we know that some of you take your choice of beer seriously. That's why we carrry over 500 different choices. From good old local's choices like Dominion, Evolution & Dogfish (in all flavors and sizes) through old reliables like Miller Lite and Budweiser.

Stopped here when we were taking a long weekend in Rehoboth Beach. In fact, we stopped there twice so we could get some more beers that aren't available here in PA. It's a warehouse type of vibe which is all good and they have a "healthy" selection of Craft Beer, most being more widely distributed selection of beer which isn't so special. However, they did have some really nice selections from Aslin and Equilibrium which is always a big "plus" IMO. Some of the local smaller DE breweries were also represented there which is another big "plus". (Source: www.beeradvocate.com)

LIQUOR

Atlantic Liquors used to be the only game in town for craft brews, but a lot has changed in the past 10 years. There are now multiple outlets where you can get craft brews, and a few that offer an extensive selection. Other than that, the inside of Atlantic is looking a little bit run down whereas some of the newer store look and feel great. They've still got a decent selection, particularly if you're looking for six packs or cases, but their singles selection hasn't quite kept pace with the competition. On the up side, singles are kept cold here. Overall it's worth a stop - there's not much to do in Rehoboth anyway.

Warehouse-style beer and wine store. Kinda like Sam's for beer. You have to check the dates carefully - some of the beer there is really old. (Hint: if the bottle is dusty, chances are good that it's been there a couple of seasons.) Although there is a decent selection of craft beers, Atlantic Liquors probably does more volume in (and therefore pays more attention to) the mega-breweries than the local breweries. The store is on the right-hand side of the road southbound (ie, headed toward the beach), and I STILL don't stop there. There are better places. (Source: www.beeradvocate.com)
